If you want to sit outside this park is a good choice. There is a lot of restaurants with outside seating. The best, in my opinion are Cantinho de Bragança and Officina de Rissois

Food court just on the other side of the Douro. Here you can try a lot of the Porto specialities.

Get a bifana at Sol e Sombra, ask for the “picante especial” special hot sauce.
Try some grilled chicken at Pedro Dos Frangos
Maybe get a pulled pork sandwich at Casa Guedes and a “cachorrinho” at Gazela.
Go drink a beer at Guindalense and enjoy the view and some amendoim (peanuts).
Buy some chouriço and cheese at Bolhão market.
Go drink some wine at Prova bar and Mariage a Trois.
